It’s a hillwalking tradition to seek shelter and warmth after a long day on the hills. For some this is a cosy seat in the nearest pub, for others it’s a night in a bothy with a hip flask. Inspired by the history and heritage of Scottish bothy life, Gin Bothy was born and they embrace the old fashioned approach. HAND-BOTTLED, HAND LABELLED & HAND POURED. Our Raspberry Liqueur is created in batches of between 26-100 bottles at a time. SIGNATURE SERVE: Perfect neat at the end of the day or with a tonic and orange to bring out the citrus botanicals. Add rosemary if you wish to complement the herbal botanicals within this delicious Scottish Gin. UNIQUE FLAVOURS: Our Scottish gin is infused with fresh Scottish apples, local honey, ginger and our classic hedgerow flower, gorse.

HAND-CRAFTED: All of our Gin Bothy gin's originate from our small distillery in the Angus Glens. Created in small batches of 300 bottles per distillation in a 200 litre traditional copper still, the Gin Bothy hand-turns and hand-batches as part of its production process. HAND CRAFTED: All of our gins originate from our small distillery in the Angus Glens. Hand-turned and hand-batched, each bottle is lovingly made for each customer.Gary Morrison-Lundie of Alex Spink and Sons said: “Smoking fish in the traditional method in a bothy smokehouse is one of the few traditional skillsets still being passed down the generations, using the same techniques and equipment as generations before us. Using that knowledge in new ways creates a connection with other parts of Scottish culture, keeping it alive and in our communities.” SIGNATURE SERVE: Great neat in a hipflask or over ice. Alternatively serve 25cl of Stirrup Cup with sparkling apple juice or sparkling water with a hint of elderflower. Pop a sliced apple to garnish. UNIQUE FLAVOURS: Our botanicals were smoked in a traditional smokehouse on the east coast of Scotland, to create this citrus smoked gin.

Our Stirrup Cup gin was created in the Bothy, originally a Smiddy - the connection with the land made sense for us to create a gin for the equestrian lover and golfer.
