About this deal

Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Natural Bronze Gradual Tanning Moisturiser is a budget friendly tanning option that's easy to add into your daily routine. Since the warmer weather has arrived and you never know what you’ll be wearing these days, I went for a full body tan. The instructions say to apply clean, dry skin in a circular motion and then wait until it has dried until you get dressed. I've come to terms with the fact my complexion closely resembles Casper the Friendly Ghost's but I do like to look a little less like an apparition when the summer months arrive. To be used with any Isle Of Paradise self-tanning water, your tan will develop within 4 to 6 hours and can be washed off earlier for a less intense look. Plus, the easy application makes tanning hard-to-reach areas a breeze.

I made sure to wash my hands after applying the lotion, which I would recommend. Fake tans can often leave behind an orange stain if you’re not careful - and the last thing you want is streaky, orange fingers. The only downside is the product sadly still has that trademark fake tan biscuit smell and even after vigorously washing my hands after applying it, I was still left with orange palms. We say: Bronze by La Mav® Gradual Tanning Moisturiser – Medium isinfused with magnesium to deeply hydrate the skin as it develops a rich bronze tan.It containsargan, macadamia and camellia oils to soften and hydrate skin. ‘Medium’ is suited to those who are after a deeper colour. That's where a tan in a bottle can come in very handy, to give you a faux sun-kissed look for only a few pounds, because it looks like it might be some time before we can get the real deal on a holiday abroad.I was really impressed with this lotion and it's ideal for building up a gradual tan during the week especially if you're planning to go out at the weekend. It's also available for fair to medium skin tones. I thoroughly recommend Bondi Sands Everyday Gradual Tanning Milk as a pre holiday/summmertime product for warming up body skin colour. It’s easy to use, non fussy, not smelly, doesn’t leave stains everywhere and you get a really good amount of product for your money. Get the Bondi Sands mitt as well, it’s good quality, really soft and will help you get your tan really even. Bondi Sands Gradual Tanner Before and After

The best way to apply fake tan will depend on the type of formula you are using. If you’re using a serum, such as The Body, your hands are the best tools to use. For mousses or gels, you’ll want to use a mitt for a natural, even result.I used the Bondi Sands Everyday Gradual Tanning Milk for about two days before I noticed a colour change and by day 4 I looked like I had a light tan. It didn’t get any darker than light tan level before it starts to fade. It wears well. I sometimes find with full on fake tan products that it comes off unevenly- so I’m still tanned on my knees but my calves are white. As long as you keep using the gradual tanning milk, you’ll keep the colour going. Gradual tanning moisturisers can be a good way to achieve this as I feel a little more in control of the eventual colour - nobody wants to look like a bronzed Love Islander on the bottom and a spirit on the top.

Summer is here but the weather has been pretty hit and miss lately, so there's a good chance you're still having to fake that tan.

According to the product description, the lotion “glides on effortlessly for a long lasting golden tan every time”. It also promises to “hydrate the skin with every application”.

If you’ve prepared correctly and have still ended up with orange palms, you’ll want to scrub, scrub, scrub. Exfoliate the area with a manual scrub or loofah, and then rinse. For further removal, recruit the help of tan remover, or baby oil. How to apply fake tan
