About this deal

The Alpine Partyplug only provides medium sound reduction. This is insufficient for shooting. Swimming Naturally, you don’t want to be uncomfortable throughout this time. Not to mention, dealing with any lingering agitation from ill-fitting or uncomfortable earplugs. Because they only provide only around 9-13dB of sound reduction at low sounds, they will be insufficient for protection from really loud sound at these frequencies.

Alpine PartyPlug Pro Natural – Alpine Hearing Protection

The ear and one’s perception of sound are very complex. Very simply put, we have the volume of sound, which is usually measured in decibels. And the frequency of sound, or the pitch. The high frequencies are more damaging to one’s hearing than the low ones. Therefore, most hearing protectors attenuate higher frequencies more than low ones. The Partyplug is a respectable choice for listening to music of medium loudness. The sound quality is acceptable. In addition, the earplugs are not very visible when worn. That makes them a good choice for bars, pubs, not very loud concerts, and similar venues. The Partyplug is a rather weak earplug and does not provide sufficient protection for really loud concerts (only 8.8dB at 63 Hz up to only 25.4dB at 2000Hz). If the music is really loud, then stronger earplugs should be used. Foam earplugs are usually stronger. A good choice for a foam earplug is the Bilsom 303 due to its good sound quality for a foam earplug. If sound quality is important, then by far the best choice are the custom molded ER15 or ER25 earplugs, but they are much more expensive. Also have a look at our article on listening to music. Getting earplugs for concerts might seem counterintuitive. You’re at the concert to hear music, after all. The reality is that concerts are often too loud, with the average being between 110dB to 120 dB. Almost double a normal conversation which is at 60dB. However I'm a bit confused at the difference between the MusicSafe Pro and PartyPlug Pro. They claim the MusicSafe version attenuates higher frequencies more, and the PartyPlug attenuates all frequencies equally. See here:

The provided filters offer varying levels of noise reduction, with the bronze reducing the level by 16 dB, the silver by 19 dB and the gold lowering the level the most by 22 dB. For the purposes of this review, we opted for the gold filter, as the noise level in the rehearsal space was pretty intense. NOISE REDUCTION | Thanks to its AlpineAcousticFilter, PartyPlugs filter harmful sounds at different frequencies without altering the music quality. Your festival will sound perfect but you won't have tinnitus or ringing ears the next day!One of their highlights is the low 11 dB NRR rating. While this could be a negative for some, they make the perfect earplugs for concerts that are just a tad too loud. It's safe to say that you aren't short of options if you are looking for a quality set of earplugs. There is pretty much a set out there to suit every budget. That said, it does mean there are many sub-par options on the market. Nélkülözhetetlen sütik Ezek elengedhetetlenek a weboldal és funkcióinak működéséhez, amelyek használatáról Ön dönt. With the help of some friends, I tried the earplugs on different ears and nobody had any problem using them. Lifespan and quality The loudest concert in history, Sleazy Joe’s 2008 performance in Sweden, was a recorded 143.2 dB – nearly as loud as a jet engine at 30 meters. Concerts typically run for a long time, with the main band playing for quite some time, along with opening acts. That’s between 90 minutes and 2 hours of wearing earplugs you’ll have to contend with. However, understanding NRR isn’t as straightforward as subtracting the NRR from the ambient noise level to estimate the dB level your ears will actually experience.Közönségmérés Ezek a sütik lehetővé teszik számunkra, hogy optimalizáljuk oldalunkat az Ön kényelme érdekében az Ön használatának módja alapján.
