About this deal

The removal of the sliding door on the bottom as both a protective cover and an on/off switch is also too bad, especially with the pouch also being missed. The scroll wheel is at least as good as that on the original Anywhere MX, and in that regard, it’s very good. I'm not giving up on Logitech, but I'm giving up on anything they might brand as 'Stone Coloured' from now on.

In both form and function, the Logitech MX Anywhere 2S succeeds as one of the best travel companion mice out there. Mobile devices often do not have a lot of extra USB ports to house the receiver 24/7 so adding in the option of Bluetooth is exactly what was needed.

I've played games on my computer for as long as I can remember, which eventually (as it does for many) led me to building and upgrading my own desktop. But I’m fairly sure I will lose the whereabouts of the Pico receiver after a few trips abroad and back – because it is so tiny and there’s no safe place to put it! From office to external meeting to business trip to home and back to the office, Logitech® MX Anywhere 2 works anywhere and everywhere you work, including on glass. The software is simple to use, and the layout is much better than older Logitech software which I found was cluttered.

Since the new MX 2 is instead equipped with a non-replaceble li-ion battery that on paper will last 2 months when fully charge, the charging capability has become mandatory. The compact and powerful MX Anywhere 2 works everywhere you do and on virtually any surface—even glass. Last year, Logitech came up with upgrades for both, the MX Master as the replacement for M950, and MX Anywhere 2 replacing the M905.Most people would throw the product right away, but as a tinkerer I rarely throw anything away before I attempt to figure out what is wrong and how to fix it. Other than those changes, this is definitely an evolutionary upgrade over the original Anywhere Mouse MX. Battery life shouldn't be much of an issue, though, as it's rated to last about 70 days on full charge, based on about six hours of daily use. NOTE: The information below is provided for your convenience only, accuracy of specifications cannot be guaranteed. I bought an MX Anywhere a couple of years ago to pair with another PC and this past year it started exhibiting the same problems you described.
