About this deal

It’s the first game to abandon the fixed overhead camera for a more outdoor-friendly system, thanks to being based on the freely-controlled Subsistence version.

Peacewalker, while less popular, is still hella fun, and an absolute must play to fans of the series as a tie in between mgs3 and 5 (4 is much later in the timeline), and a very fun more action-oriented title. The edition would include variant Metal Gear Solid steel book, an exclusive Metal Gear Solid T-shirt and an exclusive 250 page premium art book showcasing the artwork of Yoji Shinkawa.Konami announced that the games would have a resolution of 1080p and run at 60 frames-per-second (FPS) at maximum performance on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows and Xbox Series X/S. The Switch version's 30 FPS cap was noted as "bizarre" since the Shield version, which the Switch version is derived from, manages to run at 60 FPS using the same Tegra X1 chip. The digital versions of Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3 were released on August 21, 2012 as a bundle on the Xbox 360 and individually on PS3 and PS Vita, while Peace Walker was released for the Xbox 360 and PS3 on August 28, 2012. In the Tanker chapter you play as Solid Snake who is now a member of the UN recognised anti-Metal Gear group, Philanthropy who, with the backup of old Shadow Moses (see: MGS1) colleague and friend, has been sent to investigate and expose the development of a new Metal Gear project being developed by the U. The words "Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater" are now legible on Naked Snake's helmet during the opening cutscene of Metal Gear Solid 3.

This doesn’t mean it’s a bad game, but it stands out from the other titles in the HD Collection as a distinctly different kind of Metal Gear – especially without its predecessor, Portable Ops, on the disc. It was only a matter of time before Konami jumped on the HD remaster bandwagon started this generation by Sony with God of War Collection, and Konami picked the best candidate to go first. It expanded Snake's move set exponentially, with the most game-changing addition being the ability to shoot in first-person. Shooting is controlled similarly to Metal Gear Solid 4, which is a little jarring when coming directly from MGS 3 but easy enough to adapt to.This should be annoying, but a helpful radar and near-sighted enemies ensure that it's seldom unfair.
