About this deal

This new toy version is a faithful recreation of the current Doctor’s Sonic Screwdriver which debuted in the Series 9 Episode ‘Hell Bent’. The Doctor went without a sonic screwdriver for some time after this model, with Nyssa lamenting his decision not to replace it.

This Sonic Screwdriver is not only a remote control, but is a reproduction of the Twelfth Doctor’s Sonic Screwdriver, fabricated from die cast metal, acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) and soft-touch, leather-effect, thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU).

This model was lost and replaced by the Doctor repeatedly, having been bitten in half by a sky shark and left behind, ( TV: A Christmas Carol) left with the Ganger Doctor, ( TV: The Rebel Flesh) destroyed by Danny Fisher ( COMIC: The Blood of Azrael) and, in one instance, simply burnt out due to overuse. TV: The Android Invasion) The Twelfth Doctor told Clara to use setting 41 to send out random bursts of helicon energy to distract the Skovox Blitzer.

The sonic screwdriver was often used for opening objects such as doors, ( TV: The Sea Devils, The Mutants, The Green Death, etc. TV: Army of Ghosts, COMIC: Arctic Eclipse) It could also be used as a conventional screwdriver without touching screws. In the event that the Lock Code is forgotten, it may be erased completely by taking the batteries out and putting them back in again. I know it's not as accurate as it would be if it were modded with magnets, like some RPF'ers have done, but I'd be too worried about ruining it by trying to modify it.The Tenth Doctor told Rose to use " setting 15B" to triangulate the source of the ghosts ( TV: Army of Ghosts) and used 34-H to sink a ship. Used to help with rewiring the TARDIS; he told Lilly it was because the light in his "wardrobe" wasn't working, claiming it was the reason he dressed as he did.
