About this deal

Reading in DH3 how Julian finds out about Bridget and Magnolia marrying BJ (as she should) is going to hurt. Like I understand that we also have a Julian POV since he's also in the 2nd book and that Magnolia is a fav character in the mp universe but I somehow felt like their relationship takes over from this book more instead of Daisy and Christian. Miss liliac bambi should just accept she’s stuck for life with her idiotic coke addict codependent baby daddy and maybe just leave the other male specimen to their miserable life without making them more miserable! anyways, i don’t know how i feel about what julian did at the end of this book, but that’s because he hurt my babies, and broke my heart into a million pieces in the process.

she has to move back in with her brother, whom she hasn’t spoken to in a long time, not only that but she also has to face the love of her life, whom she hasn’t spoken to either since she left him, or did he leave her ? she has a new boyfriend now, his name is killian tiller, before he was just the cop at the door, but now he’s the man in her life. whatever, my girl Daisy was butchered, she was so dumb sometimes i had to close the book and take a deep breath because some of are actions were soooooo Magnolia coded like- please, let's all remember who this book is supposedly named after. i despised her thing with tiller, if i thought daisychristian had no chemistry in dh1, wow was i really showed absolutely no chemistry! And if you add the whole mess to how their relationship made no sense because there’s not a single thing in common between these two (and that’s the reason why all their conversation were all about sex and NOTHING.

I came here for Daisy but I feel I didn’t get enough of her because the POVs kept going back to Julian and Magnolia. Everything gets more complicated when beautiful, broken-hearted socialite Magnolia Parks enters the scene and Julian finds himself entangled with her. A clear theme in the series is how the female leads use men as coping mechanisms and jump between guys, which I know is because they’re being portrayed as real and flawed.

I know he didn't because it's going to be a plot point in Magnolia 3 and Daisy 3, but GOD she deserved to know what was at stake. christian is just such an angel, and i fell completely head over heels for him in dh1 and this book only made me fall harder for him, which i didn’t think was possible.he has so many responsibilities weighing on his shoulders, and so many people relying on him, and that must be so exhausting at times. I hated how he reacted to Daisy's reaction to the sex tape, but he moaned Daisy's name so I got over it. I honestly came into this book expecting to rag on him like I do for the previous books, but I had very few complaints.
